- Assisting with research on physiological and behavioral responses of Northern Elephant Seals to both natural and anthropogenic disturbances.
- Gained field experience in working with Northern Elephant Seals (Mirounga angustirostris) and in taking blood samples, muscle and blubber biopsies, milk samples, rectal and nasal swabs, and whisker and fur collections, and ultrasound measurements.
- Gained field experience doing resights of northern elephant seals and inputting observations into database.

- Marine Mammal Care Center Los Angeles, San Pedro, California
- Responsible for sorting fish for feedings and cleaning up materials used during feedings.
- Prepared gruel, a blended fish based substance for animals that are unable to consume whole fish.
- Participated in mass feedings and preparation of ‘vitamin fish’ (fish stuffed with various vitamins for welfare of the hospital patients).
- Gained experience restraining and tubing California Sea Lions (Zalophus californianus), Northern Elephant Seals (Mirounga angustirostris), and Harbor Seals (Phoca vitulina) during tube feeding procedures.
Volunteer for Manatee and Primate Rehabilitation Programs 2017
- Wildtracks Conservation and Wildlife Rehabilitation Center, Sarteneja, Belize
- Cared for 10 different Black Howler Monkeys (Alouatta caraya)
- Prepared fruit for feedings. Gave syringes of milk to individuals requiring more nourishment. Provided social support to those in need.
- Worked with 5 Antillean Manatees (Trichechus manatus)
- Prepared formulas for bottle feedings. Bottle feed 4 different manatees. Provided various browse for supplemental nourishment. Provided social support to young calves by doing sit-ins and swims. Practiced monitoring breath time intervals.
